Dapoxetine HCL is mainly for treating premature ejaculation (PE) in men. Clinical studies indicate dapoxetine may increase the time to ejaculation by as much 2.5 fold over placebo, offering considerable relief for those suffering from this common condition. This drug is a selective serotonin reuptake inhibitor (SSRI), which works by increasing the supply of serotonin in to brain, resulting in delayed ejaculation.
Dapoxetine has been proven to pioneer better control over ejaculation in men, often leading both partners experiencing a much higher sexual satisfaction. Dapoxetine has been shown to be effective and randomised trials have demonstrated a mean increase in intravaginal ejaculatory latency of around 2-3 minutes. Dapoxetine HCL is reported to be given as a 30 mg (milligrams) or 60mg doses.
